Studio OP – Auto Pit Design Workshop

Pit design can be a long process with significant rework across many scenarios. Studio OP's Auto Pit Design can be used to quickly generate designs appropriate for conceptual-level studies or construction-level plans.

This workshop will cover the use of Datamine's Auto Pit Design, from generating and evaluating a conceptual pit design through to generating a feasible pit design.

Course Outline:

Discussion of the Datamine interface, filters, legends, and common string commands
Setting up your Auto Pit Design project
Generating conceptual-level designs and evaluating scenarios against one another
Brief overview of Auto Pit Design settings (Conditioning, Tapering, Advanced)
Taking conceptual designs through to construction-level designs
